normally do pretty well with the whiting and herring dad and i saw a massive school of king george whiting about 20 out they were swimming right in the dumper but they wouldnt take a bait.

it was amazing about 200 foot long kgs we put our bait right into them and they didnt even have a bite, got about 2 nibles in about 15 mins of chasing the school up the beach but they definately werent interested!

Not KG's

I doubt they were KG's mate as they wouldn't be swimming in the dumpers. Probably herring - but may have been tailor. Maybe even Salmon.

What was 200ft long? The school?

oh sorry yea 200 fish mate they were too big for sand whiting and would have been monster herring but maybe they were tailor or salmon but they were big and you could see them clearly when a wave started to curl they were just swimming along would need to have caught one to see what they were but yea they were about a foot long each and semmed to be patrolling the shoreline looking for food but they didnt take any squid or soft plastics...

If you want whiting head to Myalup beach up from bunbury. They're a pest there, if you wanted you could easily catch 50+ in a session no lie.

Just use a small hook baited with a tiny bit of prawn and a running sinker, cast a few meters out and keep it on the move in and you will clean up.
