Gday poser - If your heading

Gday poser - If your heading to Kalbarri have a look at the "Murchison boat hire" website if ya havent already - theres heaps of info there on fishing in Kalbarri. Its still Mackie and tuna season up there, hopefully you can get out through the mouth of the river, I was there in Feb this year big schools of sharks mixed with tuna and Mackies only a kilomete or two out from the town. If you got a boat troll north up to a spot called "Sandpatch" in early morning it about 6km from memory you will see a big sand dune on your right  trolll up and down in the 15 - 25 metre line for pelagics. I use large Halco bibs (red  head is old favourite) and deep diver X-raps n jet head skirts in pink, orange green, yellow fluoro colours If you go south of the settlement still troll there is a long line of cray pots in around 25m or less water find the drop offs plenty of snapper etc use big baits of squid, fish fillets off of small shit you pick up like wrasse or catch little fish in the river for ocean bait I go down to red bluff never been further in the boat watch the weather that friggin wind can catch you out quick thats why i go south in arvo to come home with the blow and waves hope you and your old man have a good time
