Hi guys a couple of questions
Hi chaps I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering them for me. How much will it cost me per year to register/rego for my boat and trailer, my boat is a 70hp 5m hull, total length with trailer is 7m, tare weight of trailer roughly 500kg gross weight of boat and trailer combined weight 1500kg I've looked at the WA government website but I don't really understand the jargon.
Also how much would it cost for rego of a Hilux dual cab ute 2010 to 2013 model, and just to finish off how much for a tandem axel 10x5 feet , trailer gross weight trailer 2000kg, tare roughly 500kg
Many thanks as some of you might not know we are moving to WA from England, wife and kids are Aussies, looking forward to some decent weather and boat ramp banter...
P.S how much roughly will it cost me for boat insurance

about $60 a yr for boat trailer, $500 for the dual cab,i think it`s about $50 for boat, not sure about the tandem trailer and insurance depends on what your boats worth but $400 upwards a year.
then there the skippers ticket to get and the rec fishing license and the list goes on ________ they grab as many pennies as they can lol!!!!

Just as a comparison here in
Just as a comparison here in SA my 5m boat costs around $100 rego - trailer around the same, Commydoor (V8) $780 per year (4wd prob $800 or so). Had the smarts to get my boat licence when I was 18 - paid $40 from memory and is for life. Anyone applying now pays more and have to renew it (ie pay again) now and then. Our state budget is in the poop and they are grabbing as much as they can so everything is likely to rise.
No rec fish licence in SA but we need one badly (as long as the money goes back into recfishing not general revenue).
Cheers
