They are definately in the river. I have not caught them personally but they are there. Not sure what size but you will definately find some decent fish in there.
The river is quite high at the moment....take waders if you have them!
Hey brg, went fishing at hill river a few months ago. I fished the river mouth, where it would normally meet the ocean. Got a couple of small black bream (around 200mm), but saw some other blokes catching some good sized ones (around 300-350). I don't know much about bream fishing, but keen to get into it.
The other blokes were fishing early morning, up near where the river slowly bends round to the left (sorry, thats the best way i can describe it), casting at the snags. A couple went walking through the reeds, but i don't recommend that....get a lot of snakes close to the water.
ive got family up that way so im up there most long weekends soaking some big baits so pm me if ya ever want to do a fourby mish .family have gone down the new road and said it took 1hour and 45mins to perth.
