Hillaries whiting
Submitted by BobbyG on Wed, 2012-07-25 23:01
Went to Hillaries for a fish after work today. Fished from the north wall about 50meters from the beach. The whiting was on fire but only managed to land 5.
Does anyone know if the north wall will hold any herring, garfish or slimy mackerel?
Cheers
Werner

I don't bother fishing hillaries anymore but there used to be herring early morning or late arvo if you head out further towards the platform & berley up, I doubt that's changed much. I only ever came across gars there occasionally but I think some of the old timers get them pretty regularly while they're herring fishing.
