Try the north wall, near the light house.

The last three trips I have made to the Light House I have caught herring, tailor, a cobbler, a really good tarwhine, a nice skippy, some squid and jagged a crayfish. I have caught most of those on mulies, (full mulies with the tail cut off and half mulies). Prawns also work well there.
I would recommend you get there before dawn or just before dusk as the blowies are in plague proportions. If you are fishing at night - try a glow stick.
All the best, Colin

WHOLE yellowtail and i got a big run and managed to pull in a sizeable ray. it think it was a fiddler ray/ banjo shark.

Unfortunstely in the daylight hours
You are just prey to the blowies. Definately burley up.

Hi Matty
I fish two rigs. One with a standard paternoster fishing on the bottom with a mulie, a herring or a live bait.
The other rig I cast out unweighted mulies on. Both seem to work at different times.
But it won't matter if you are fishing top or bottom if the blowies are there.
