Guys looking to buy a hobie kayak for exmouth and narrowed it down to 3
mirage revolution 13
mirage outback
pro angler 12
Looking for something easy to fish out of, easy to launch, stable and can stand up to streach the legs. I know they all have there pros and cons and have done all the google searches just keen to hear from guys who fish from them. Dont plan fishing outside more inside the reef casting lures, squidding, fishing inside the gulf.
i can get both the revolution and PA13 second hand at the moment for half new price, outback would have to be new. All comments welcome.
cheers

Pa 12. Its a bit slower than
Pa 12. Its a bit slower than the other but i take mine everywhere and its where i spend most of my free time. The seats are comfy heaps of space on board and you can stand up and fish/piss in calm conditions. Cleaver rod storage down the sides and the newer models have a skeg which helps heaps when drifting or just general travelling. Only down fall is its a little slower and catches swells and chop more probs more expensive too. But stable as.

I had an Outback which was
I had an Outback which was good, went better through the water than a PA but slower than a Revo 11. Stable enough to stand up in if you were confident enough but pretty easy to tip over and fall in. The PA range are definetly a thicker and more stable yak. Had pretty good storage front and rear with enough rod holders to keep you happy.
Does get extremely wet going into chop and you might want to get rod holder extentions to keep your reels a bit more out of the water because they will get soaked from splash and spray.
I'd probably go for the 2nd hand PA over the Revo over the new Outback

You wont regret it. Nothing
You wont regret it. Nothing beats a summer night on the river with a few bevvies sittin in a pa imo. Even better when you pull up to a boat ramp amongst the boats and your esky looks better than theirs. Hehe

if you are fishing inside the reef
The PA would be the most comfortable yak. The Revo would be the most versatile option should you wish to venture further offshore. Outbacks have their good points too :).
