homemade lure success

tailor though.. 3rd cast hooked up and didnt stop from then on, i was catching more than my mate who was using halco twistys (1 vs 8) wouldnt have been there more than hour and a half just proves that what cost nothing to make works just as well as the shop ones and u dont stress out when you loose one! few pics for the books!

Good work mate. Always fun catching something on a lure you have made yourself.

yep , lots of homemade stuff still works great, a bit like all those

lures that used to catch fish, coffin irons , bomber lures, rapala cd18

yep they still work, its just a bit more trendy to use the latest and greatest

 ( guilty myself)

homemade white broomstick poppers caught us plenty of queenies and trevs in the 80,s

mate those   (knifey jigs ) copyright that name!,, look like they would go great

at greenough , kalbarri etc,

thanks and your smile says it all , satisfaction.

what a way to prove the basics work. catching fish like that on a lure you made yourself would be rewarding. keep up the good work and maybe vary your colours a bit on the lures to see which one works the best
