House/car break in x8
Here’s a good one open for discussion. My boys car got smashed into plus guy he shares with car ( smashed windows) Next door neighbours house and fair few others on street . Wallet/ cash/ Id gone. House hold goods from other people on street. Reports to police after event didn’t do anything. This was called in while there running away 1 am.Cut a long story short later that day around lunch time gets a call from local ranger . Your dog has attacked someone last night and dog needs to be put in pound.( needle). Anonymous caller. What a friggin joke. Obviously they also tried getting in his back yard also. Wtf is wrong with people ,dog protecting house in back yard. According to ranger doesn’t matter. The caller hasn’t gone in to fill out forms at rangers as of yet. But you bet your last dollar if they did nothing will happen to one of the many people doing stealing that night. And there was a few of them.( due to there indigenous back ground). Gero.

Rangelands
My missus house in Rangeland in Gero has been broken into 3 times in 2 years, even with a monitored alarm system,
First time we were in Exmouth and got a call from security saying alarm was going off and they had reset it to see if it was a moth or something that had set it off, if it goes again they would investigate, No further alarm but border comes home 4 hours later and granny flat out the back has been cleaned out, including the fridge!, total $8000. Flashing light out front of building had been spraypainted over.
2nd time, in out in 5 minutes, total $3000 as new sensor had been fitted to granny flat and security on scene in 10 minutes.
Last time only back sliding door glass smashed and someone bolted before pinching anything.
Spoke to security about putting up fake cameras, he said was against the law, spoke to copper and he said go for it! Keyed security in on his bullshit advice in no uncertain terms

You would think common sence would come in to it.brilliant trained dog.even lets kids ride on him. Now need to watch out for poison baits getting thrown over fence.

I think you'll find they
I think you'll find they need proof of the attack and that it was your dog . Pretty much impossible if it was secured in its yard so tell the ranger to F off without a police order

i agree feral. On the point of the beware of dog sign don't put one up as it is written evidence that you think your dog is dangerous and has brought people unstuck in the past.

Unbelievable, we get so many car break ins in my suburb, we’ve been lucky so far, I’m pretty well in the middle of the suburb and the meth heads seem to work around the edges. And particularly if you have bush land nearby as they blend back into that. Heard them one day on their bike cycling past and whistling, seeing who’s got dogs.

Get your neighbour to state dog was indoors
The moment the threshold of the house itself is crossed the dog cannot be ordered to be destroyed......had a similar issue years ago and luckily our patio was fully enclosed with a sliding door and police actually told us to maintain it happened within the patio .......nothing further heard from Council

Yeah dale
Stayed there last year .( front room) Late night till early hours riding push bikes up and down road whistling.finding out who had dogs. I live near rocko golf coarse they had a good thing going in our area for a while . Anyone with dog they where leaving golf ball in front yard ( no go sign) . Then they where sending little kids in .Kids then where letting older ones in through front door. Older ones not getting charged for break and entering. Young ones to young .no charges . Joke really is. As a property owner you have no writes at all .

Farking slimy sneaky pricks.
Farking slimy sneaky pricks. My outdoor sensor light went on last year and a little native was trying to get into the tool box on my ute. I ran outside but the little prick had heard me coming to fucking kill him and he was off down the street to a waiting Commodore on the corner.
Fucks were cruising the neighbourhood looking for easy theft. I've told my boys before they try to get in the house don't hold back with the golf irons near each door, hurt them so they won't try it again.

Yep
Agreed it’s complete and utter bullshit! I love the way the scum have rights, even though it is them that are breaking into your property! And then the homeowners are to blame if there is any harm done to the would be thief. I’m starting to think some pepper spray or better yet a taser is the way forward.

I reckon there's more to
I reckon there's more to that story than meets the eye Mega. Random home breakins aren't done with a Samuri sword, those clowns had an agenda to hurt. Not saying I have any sympathy for the dead idiot, he went there looking for trouble and got it.

yep someone owed someone something! - i saw one of the interviews with that guy - he was a bit weird, he said
- quote - "if he had met the intruders under different circumstances, they probably would have been good acquaintances"
went on to say he had a lot of friends in the "African community" and "would take a bullet for those guys any day"

In the past year crime had
In the past year crime had gone up heaps due to two new Homeswest houses in the street. Police caught them after breaking in to 36 cars in one night. Homeswest moved them out, no more crime. Homeswest did get a number of letters and calls from people saying that their assets were ay risk from attack by fire.

One family burnt another
Family’s house down in my area . Unreal when they go against each other. 1 less in area few years back, as mega said be interesting outcome of intruder dying. You would have to think drugs/debt collectors. Boys dog safe. Ranger came over more than happy with bedding /kennels/ food and condition of his dogs. The big vicious nasty dog that was reported just wanted to play with him and get pats. First ranger who called boy was new and out of line. No one showed to fill in report . So no action can happen. No court case.blood on side gate and on concrete. Intruder must have cut himself on something. Law baffles me sometimes.

Break into my house
Good to see that the low life that broke into a house at Mt Lawley with a sword and came out dead has resulted in the house owner not facing any charges, good ending
