How far out would you go with this bowrider?

Just purchased this boat 2months ago, , Its an 18footer with a 135hp mercruiser engine.
I know its not a sea or dedicated fishing boat. Im pretty new to boating so i would just like your thoughts and suggestions about weather you would take this out into open waters Eg West End rottnest for Salmon etc
Much Appreciated

flat
i think if you planned on goin the west end it would have to be a pretty good day, dont think it would handle chop that well quite low and open in the front

Go for
it, hope you have all safety gear, epirb, radio, life jackets, flares, bilge pump (or bailing bucket). Wouldn't like to see it in a swell or when southerly blowies. It looks like a ski boat to me, sorry, don' mean to be rude.

G'day
Not really a good fishin boat.
You would be fine heading around rotto but it would have to be a flat day. Any chop and you will get a rough and very wet ride. Just use common sense and fish where the weather will permit. No fish is worth a life so stay safe and dont push the limits. Weather down around rotto can turn pretty quick. Good luck.
Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more serious than that!!!

18ft is Fine!
Yeh as mentioned, pick your days ie low sea/swell/wind and you'll be fine mate. Rotto is do-able for sure and just be careful of the "howling Easterlys" up ya cloacker on the way out as that can make for a wet trip/go slow!
