when we had that torential rain a few weeks ago i had some paving around my pool sink , i got a bloke around to give me a quote to repair it , i gave him the go ahead , he said i will be there friday (last friday ) he texts me last friday "cant make it is wensday ok " yep i say texts me wensday cant make it is friday this week (tommorow ) ok i say should that be his last chance and i get some 1 else to do the job if he dosent turn up tomorrow

i have used one bloke of the site and he was bloody good he did my decking at home when nobody else would take it on

doesn't seem as good anymore, count yourself lucky , when we moved from east freo a year back , I had a moving truck and guys organized for around 1pm, beds packed, fridges off , phone and water and leccy and everything else ready at the new place ( including the dog) , when he calls at 1.30pm and says , yeah sorry mate we are a bit busy today can we make it another time!!!!!
We finally got another truck organized by some miracle and were in by 8pm that night.The stress alone took 5 years off my life.
A mans word pfffffffffft.

Everyone is in it for themselves now and dont care how it impacts on anyone else. That or they bite of more then they can chew it it snow balls outta control. My motto if you want it done rite you gotta do it yourself. The bloke will probs come round and do the job pete then try tear ya a new one for some bogus reason.

to his credit he has contacted and said he can't make it, sometimes things don't go to plan on jobs and that's more common if you are a one man band, he obviously is still interested in the job or he just wouldn't pitch up.
I remember a post you put up a fair while ago chasing someone to add an extra couple of courses of bricks to an exhisting wall, I replied to that post and you didn't even bother contacting me back hmmmmmm.
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !
