by the look of some of the boats on show a few? :D

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.

You can trade online
with the CBA. Commsec is the one. Just google it up, sign up and start to clean up. No better time to make money imo. Sandfire or Atlas and shit loads of others just get moving before you miss the gravy train.

im currently holding TLM MRM ARU AXM *groan* CXM BLY and EMA most of them are good plays currently. stay away from AXM and CXM althought CXM is a moderate longterm... ;D

Unfortunately I do! I don't do a whole lot of research though. I have made some good money lately though on SEA and AVM but over the last few years I've probably just broken even. I've picked some bad ones!

If anyone needs help with trading shares i am a private client adviser. Feel free to pm me if you fellow fishwrecked members need help with anything, questions, research etc. Have many clients in CCC and have had pretty much most clients holding AGO from back when they were below 50c and still holding them.
And yes Big John you only mostly hear ppl bragging when they make a lot of money on a stock.

See they have mvoed in WA now, Apparently alcoa asked them to setup shop here as Alcoa are not hapyp with the current level of service they get from any australian companies so ccc is now setup in mandurah

Yep I do shares but mainly for long term investment but I do like to dabble in some short term stuff. Like any gambler you only hear of their wins punctuated with bullshit, had my own fair share of wins and certainly some losses esp. in the gfc. If your not prepared to lose it don't bother and stick to the plan / goals, so happy gambling and steer clear of bullshit!

Typical for me - I sold AVM
Typical for me - I sold AVM at $5.30 a couple of weeks back. Today they are trading at about $5.80. At least I got them at $1.90 though. I would have held on if I didn't need some funds. I reckon they will keep on going well past $10 eventually.

We just keep ours
in super with the CBA bank, lost a bit on the GFC but have really made up for the lose and getting better. We're putting more in and hope to make some money for our old age. The way ours is set up we can be on the pension and still hit the super in small amounts.
