How's the health of the Swan river?

G'day All,
I have been fishing the river for the past week now and was wondering how is everyone travelling in regards to catch rate and variety of fish. I have targeted the lower reach of the swan and have been doing well on Lizards on lures. They are not huge but very entertaining on light gear. I have seen quite a few fellas drop netting and was wondering whats been caught.
I ask the question because I have not heard of Giant Herring, Muddies or Cobbler been caught for a while now.

i went fly fishing yesterday
i went fly fishing yesterday in the swan, i didnt get much but i saw a pod of dolphins swim past and chase fish in the shallows. not sure if that means much but the locals tell me that is pretty rare.
I live with fear every day... sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Cobbler are banned for take till 2017 or something like that so you won't see much talk of take there.
