Hi Rodrat,

Well - Yes and No.

I have Ultraflex steering on my boat but its not hydraulic its the fully geared system.

I wanted to fit hydraulic but did not have room for the ram in my engine well. So went for the high end geared system and is first class - just what I wanted and not expensive.

I actually wanted a steering system with zero back-play and something that would not move if I took my hands off the helm. This is exactly what I achieved and without all that oil!

The Ultraflex online catalog allowed me to spec the correct parts which I ordered locally and they arrived within a week.

Did a fair bit of ringing around and searching on the net and couldnt find anything negative about hi drive, plus a mate has it and swears by it.
