Does anybody out there have any clues as to what the name and brand of this lure is or might be. Dives deep to around 3 meters

Don't think it's a nilsmaster as they had plastic bibs.

It looks like a bitser! - Nilsmaster body, Rapala bib and hand made paint job.  - Bib has a home made appearence  - Home made perhaps or maybe a Nilsy that had a broken bib and a home made job was put on to replace??

Have an old Nilsmaster (was originaly light blue - now had some added stripes and silver flecks) in my tackle box might give it a run next time I'm away

Cheers

Best guess is that it's a home made copy of the nilsmaster invincible, unless the photo is distortd in some way, which it does appear to be. 12cm & above deep diver invincibles used to come with a metal bib. The body on this lure though has too much of a bow in it when viewed from the side & is too fat around the shoulders when viewed from below to be an original invincible, unless as i said the picture is distorted. If it is an original though, don't lose it, they are very rare these days & would be worth something to a collector if you have the box for it still.

Yeah

Yeah definately a Nilsmaster, they were made with both metal and plastic bib's . As said above K-mart cleared out all their stock a few years ago , most sold for $1 to $2 each. I bought about 80 different colours and sizes including the one pictured.

I gave alot of them away to my mates and kept a few of each type. I found the metal bib ones only swim well at very slow speeds.
