Condolences to the families, on a beautiful day for boating a tragedy strikes. I was thinking that the bungs had been left out and some one lent over the stern to put them in place but then I saw the bit on the news and the boat appeared to have plenty of freeboard so I dismissed that idea.
Probably some detail in tomorrows paper.
Every boat owning mate I’ve been out with wears no life jacket, doesn’t log on/off, and doesn’t wear the safety lanyard - despite having all the gear to do so. Why is there such a sense of complacency?
