just after some information to what rod and reel you guys reckon I should be looking to buy for fishing for snapper etc from my jet ski ?
I have plenty of lighter rods (4 to 6kg) just need information to a bit heavier rod required for the snapper / bigger fish etc that I hope to encounter when fishing from my jet ski (cockburn sound etc.) fingers crossed i can get a few !
Any information greatfully received
Cheers

4-6 is fine mate ...that's the heaviest i take out on my yak but rarely use it....probly half the reason i loose so many fish lol bit the lighter you go the better the fight obviously...snapper are a pretty hearty fish and all the big ones i release afternalong fight swim off very strong so you don't need to skull drag them in :)
