Hey Everyone!
Have finally got around to signing up to this website, long time reader but first time poster!
Although you may recognise me from other fishing websites!
Love this site though, so much info. Guess it also helps with Adam living in exmouth and giving regular updates.
Anyway I am off to exmouth in a week and a bit, 12th - 19th october.
Will have a small tinny and my mates will have another. Any hints and tips would be great as to where to go. Do have a chartplotter and a big yearning to catch some fish!
Went up last year but got blown away, although did get a few. Hopefully this year will be better!
Anyway key question is where do I find a sailfish?! And a nice red emperor?!
Cheers guys!

Welcome to the site mate. Can't help you with Exmouth, but there's quite a few on here that can.

OOooh spess
Spess, to think you almost got a bite with that crap bait! :)
Sails are out in the gulf at the moment, around Exmouth reef. (Can still get them on the west side too) Best bet is to use a teaser and troll skipping/swimming gars, can take a lot of hours some days, but worth it for a good saily. (Just be wary of how strong the south wester is going to come in)
If you've got a decent boat best place to go looking for reds in the murions or peak, otherwise with the small boat its a lot of hit and hope and go off tantabiddi. I don't have a good enough sounder in my tinny to pick up red schools in the deeper stuff so just focus on trout in the shallows instead.
Cheers,
Adam

Thanks Guys!
Thanks guys!
Yeah hopefully exmouth is a bit better than last year anyway!
Adam boat is only small mate! Where abouts are the trout best located, just around bommies and burleying up? Or a bit of searching and looking around?
