It doesn't get any better than this!!!
Day off work, broken boat, so I decided to take my little darling, baby Mia, the only child of mine that isnt at school, in search of her first fish... the smile says it all, Just headed down towards Mandurah looking for a few sand whiting, they didnt play the game like last week when we happened upon the spot while me and the neighbour(deckie/apprentice) were working in the area, but even still, a bag of prawns, beautiful weather, sunscreen and the kind of smile that keeps daddy smiling for years to come!!! Ended up stopping at the Fishmonger at Singleton Shell and bought some whiting fillets... just to hold face at home ;) Baby Mia wont tell the Mrs!!
Got a little shark too that got released... Baby Mia got to touch it too and was totally amazed at it, she slept the whole way home... covered in beach sand

Good Times
Can't beat a day out with family, beach, fishing and the smiles of happy fishiers especially the young ones.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Can't beat it!
My two young daughters absolutely love fishing too. They fish for about 15mins themselves, then abandon the rods and spend the rest of the time enjoying themselves in the sand and surf as only kids can, and rushing back to land "their" fish when I, their mum or their Grandad hook one for them. Quality family time!

I've tried so hard to get mine interested.
I know he enjoys it when I manage to drag him along, but he'd much rather sit in front of a monitor/tv.

Happy Days
Great stuff Troy. A day to remember. My kids can name all the fish weighed at the monthly tournaments and they are only 5 and 3. My daughter can't count to ten but knows her pelagics. My wife doesn't seem to have the same level of pride LOL.
