Cheers guys.  Itching for a fish, but will sea trial her only in 10 days time if the weather permits, after that we can go wet a line.  Till pulled the longest straw though as he helped with some of the install.

tranducer setup

Goodday Alfred I was looking at your tranducer setup on your boat, does it work well. Do you get a good picture at speed? Is that a sliding arm connected to the transducer?

Agreed Andy, the absolute quackers knackers! Smiko bulkhead Alfred - interested in the troll/mode on the tacho? Is that like cruise control?

will be interesting to see how that leg tranny set up will go alfred, or unless your already going to plan to change it to the big bracket i have on my boat.

A couple of semi-informed guesses.

Mon, 2008-09-08 09:13

Everyone: Alfred doesn't appear to be on this morning, but I may know a few of the answers...

There is a bigger tranny mount than that? I thought that one was pretty outsize. Got a snap of yours?

The boat came with a small colour sounder, but that was removed, the hole resized, and the Funrno 7000 out in it's place. Alfred also mounted the 585, in what was a clear spot on the dash. He also mounted the trim tab (and dash switch) himself. If you check the two console pics, you can see the first one was taken before the switch was fitted! He also mounted the tranny himself on that whaopping bracket. Pretty sure he did all his own wiring and pull-throughs.

Dreamweaver: turns the seats into a leaning post, if you want to stand instead of sit?
