after 6 hrs of freediving down Bremer bay along the cliffs. Mate and I popped out to 60m for a fish, hooked this thing on pe2 and on a 200 gram ocean legacy contact jig. Outfit is a maxel rage 25 and levitate number . This thing smoked me took over 30mins to get up, everyone run was a 30m line dump lol

Thanks mate, thing hurt me the levitate is a number 3. But yeah nicest reel and rod I have used. Smallest reel in the maxel range and you could pull the plug with it hahah

Great catch
That's one hell of a blue, how did you get on with such a small diameter rod under the arm pit.

Absolute cracker of a fish!
Huge special effort. That story should be published in print!
How far offshore from the cliffs was it to the 60m line?
Top stuff :)!
