Jungle Perch and Sooty Grunter underwater

Here's a couple of pics I took a few months ago.  Fishing the freshwater near Cairns.  Nice way to spend a morning.

Yeah Brad, been a bit quiet, in between boats at the moment but should have the new one in another week.

Tim the Sooty went deep into cover on hookup and must have wedged himself amongst the rocks.  Was surprised to land it.

Yeah I still lurk around the place Adam.  Gotta get my finger out and do some more fishin'

Thanks guys.  I think I took about 70 odd pics that day for maybe 4 or 5 keepers.  I was on my own so was leading the fish with one hand while snapping away with the other.  All while sitting in the water.  Very satisfying when you get those special shots though.  I did up an article with these pics and a few more which was printed in "NQ Fish and Boat" a few months ago.  Camera was a Canon G10 with underwater housing.
