just another day ouy
Took advantage of the forecast lighter winds and headed out for a fish aiming to explore more ground.this time I said to Sandy that we keep nothing under40cm. Not much around on the areas we searched other than a trevally so went back to the area we were at last trip out. Got a few fish on board with a few going back that were just under 400 . With the wind increasing we decided to head In a bit closer to home. Next spot got a few more keepers and quite a few went back. Moved on again a bit closer in and got our last couple of fish with even more going back to fight another day. Sandy got another small red of around 300 which swam off strong. Got back to the ramp to discover the tide was a bit too low to dock the boat. Had to wait for about hour and a half for enough water so just anchored up in the shallow just outside the harbour. Had a little guest settle down on the windscreen for a while and wouldn't leave o matter what. Ended up jumping on my hand for a while . With the big fire up towards Broome there was a lot of smoke hanging around which made for an interesting sunset.
