luke ellis got a ghuge one
luke ellis got a ghuge one there the other day so they must be there, and so other guys have been getting them from there to. just keep trying you'll get them.
also if you go on google earth look around the river and you'll find heaps of flats, start exploring them.good luck

Point Walter
Give Point Walter a crack. There are usually quite a few flatties around that area this time of here. From sunrise to about 9am is my preferred time for flatties.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

i usually go to a spot in
i usually go to a spot in south perth near the narrows for a quick fish and usually get 3+ in an hour between 35-45+cm either on squidgees or little scorpion 35s

Been getting some nice size
Been getting some nice size flatties on fly between the 2 bridges on the Canning. Just keep it slow and close to the ground.

Flatty's.
All the flats along the Canning or Swan will produce. Scored a few around Applecross jetty all the way up to Point Walter. Weed and sand combination produces and alot of the drop offs along the freeway side of the river. Don't be afraid to even give the upper half of the river ago, Garret Road and beyond. Hope this helps.
Kind regards.

yeh mate just try chucking
yeh mate just try chucking your lures on the freeway side of the bank just next to the bridge around the flats. we had a fair bit of luck there the last time we headed over with scorpion 35s in shiny colours :)
