Got to town, had a good run up. Unpacked and stretched the legs. Must fish, so down to jetty for a quick lure flick at the refueling jetty. Was hoping for a Mangrove jack. Picked up this smallish spotted estuary cod on a sinking stickbait (lure looks a little like a small Hezza). My son landed a good yellow fined Bream on the same lure. Walking the dog retrieval. We did about twenty casts in all. Itched scratched and off for tea. Must congratulate the local pizza shop, very nice pizza.

If your keen!!!!!!!
Just around the corner , starting to the south , there maybe some reefy sections of beach
and there maybe just a chance, that if you battle the reef , the swell etc , in safety of course , there maybe
that fishs dad , grandad and the whole family.
If you have ever fished that area for tailor , had a big hook up and been reefed, like I had done
occasionly over the years , my advise is to lock up, balls to the wall , and you may just pull a nice cod out ,maybe.
( Mine fed 4 people)
