Karatha to perth anyone heading down?

Crew,
Bought a rod from fw member Feral up there in Karatha but unfortunately our heli flight in was delayed not giving me time to get the rod checked in on the fixed wing south...
As it looks like i wont be crew changing again through there i need to get the rod down to Perth.
Anybody heading down or perhaps has an idea for me?

I'm flying down on Friday on the 4.30pm QF flight...
I don't have tonnes of time but if someone can meet me at the airport and i can bring it back checked for you.
