Karratha: wanted - Fly fishing boat + tow vehicle

Looking for a private arrangement for a suitable fly fishing boat + tow vehicle in the 5-6m size range in 2024 for 8-10 days, potentially Mar-May or Oct-Dec periods.
Aluminium boats also fine, as long as they have casting decks.
Day trips from Dampier ramp, 2-3 fly fisherman from Adelaide, fishing Dampier region.
Highly experienced on the water, with over 2,000hrs boating across Exmouth and Weipa fisheries in the past 20yrs.

Please PM me to discuss. Cheers, Hank

Get hold of Swaff at North

Get hold of Swaff at North West Boat Hire. He has a couple of rigs. The smaller one should be suitable but he will know what else could be available.

Already spoken to them. They

Already spoken to them. They want full payment upfront at booking a year+ out, so that doesn't work for us.

Not willing to negotiate a better rate for a longer hire either, apparently the casual day-trippers will offer the same return as us doing 8-10 days straight......

Interesting. I thought seeing as he has only taken over the business last week he might of wanted the future bookings. Oh well.

 Swaff has reached out on

Swaff has reached out on email; following up my original request to NW boat hire.

I was unaware the business was changing hands, and clearly I spoke only with the prior crowd who's care factor at that stage would have been low.

I'll touch base with him and see if they're more open to making an arrangement that works for both parties.

Swaff would be the man, Karma is a sick lil tub, will get you all around the islands and creeks if you wanted to Baz.. Jax really just built the boats, the hire was getting in the way of the ali build business.

 Karma looks great, but not

Karma looks great, but not really suited to flyfishing. You want open decks with low profile everything.

If anyone has a boat + vehicle solution or idea then please let me know.
