Kids at the River.

Had a great day at the river today with my kids, plenty of Bream caught, though the largest was only 30cm. Only caught one blowie between 3 adults and 4 kids fishing, count that as a win on its own!!

Well done nice little sesh there. Dam those black bream are so nice to look at. Were you guys using lures or bait?

They are a real nice fish,
They are a real nice fish, great for the kids because even the small ones give a good little fight( backing the drags of a bit on the kids reels helps!) Just bait today, mullet strips did most of the damage, caught a few on hard bodies there in the past, but never had much luck on the plastics.

haha yup always gotta loosen the drag heaps when the kids are fishing!!! Well u did well to catch only one blowie when you were using bait! Very well. Keep the reports coming matey

nice one pob maylands is also a good area for kids (the grass goes right up to water)and close by toilets.
