Kununurra barra charters

Hi guys,
First post although veteran spectator.
Looking to do a few days barra fishing around the Ord/Kununurra with my old man and brother and non of us have any barra experience - was thinking a lodge with a fishing guide & boat each day.
It appears there are two operators up there; "Maccas Barra" and "Ultimate Adventures" of which the later is about half the price. Two main questions;
1. Anybody had any experience/feedback with either, particularly Ultimate Adventures?
2. Are there any other suitable options anyone could recommend up there?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Cheers,
Sam

Go with Hairy Dog
Which is Ultimate. If he takes you you WILL piss yourself laughing, but his other guides are good to. Black dog if he still guides is the one I most recent went out with. Had laughs and caught a few.
Do day trips out of Kunnanura, or can stay overnighters at the Camp and eat famous Barra Burgers!!

Yeah go with the hairy dog, I've fished with Greg a few times, albeit a long time ago. Knows his stuff and is very entertaining.

Been with Ultimate
October 2013 when the Barra were pretty hard to find. Definitely knows his stuff and put us onto plenty of fish despite the conditions. Not sure about sense of humour though, I thought he was a grumpy bastard or maybe I caught him on a bad (and hot) day, he does have a very dry sense of humour.
Lots of good knowledge that he does share in his own special way.

October
Is one of the better months to fish here.
Not sure how they were hard to find?

A couple of poor wet seasons
A couple of poor wet seasons prior and very high water temps didn't help (not last October but the one before). The local comp had its worst results for a long time and yes fish were unseasonably very hard to find

Hairy Dog
Knows the river well , yeah can be Grumpy or Funny as ( maybe not politically correct!!)Generally fishes less punters onboard than Macca . +1 comments on Blackjack . Normally drop in on him each May whilst fishin/campin the Mighty Ord .

i think macca
Barra camp has been closed for a couple of years now, only guide on the ord is hairy dogs . There is a new charter out of wyndham called northbound fishing charters which would be worth a shot as well
