bulk spool braid

 Hi All,

Would any one have any suggestions on best place and type of braid bulk spools. I have got 3-4 reels (Talica12, Sustain 6000, Stradic 5000, Stella 10000) to spool for Exmouth and wouldn't mind having some left over. As this is not an exercise I would like to do again I was hopeful others may share some advice.

For the heavier stuff I'm currently looking at 1800m saltiga boat braid pe4 55lb or pe3 40lb. (About $300 delivered)

Then for lighter stuff maybe 500m spools of fins about ($70)

Best value for money would be best, I have spooled a couple of reels with varivas 10x10 of late but can't afford that path after losing 200m of pe6 on a sambo charter.

Cheers

Folks

Drop into Tackle World Exmouth (Give em a call first) and they should have bulk Fins braid which is fairly decent. Where do you live because i may be able to recomend a spot?

Not the thinnest diameter for its strength, but I love it.

Try Australasian tackle on ebay

The nano braid is cheap, comes in bulk spools and is high quality. Other than that daiwa boat braid is always good.

I don't know if I've ever bought much from the states, postage/freight alwys kills the deal. And the dollar doesn't help, now.

States on eBay still looks

States on eBay still looks cheaper but have to wait (been waiting a month for a new handle) so that is putting me off. 200 for 400m sounds like good value!

King chief what would you suggest for each reel?

i reckon as low as 20lb for

Fri, 2015-02-06 20:12

i reckon as low as 20lb for the stradic and as high as 60 - 70lb for the stella

i would go 20lb-30lb stradic, 30-40lb sustain, up to 70lb for stella all this depends how you intend on using the reels but.

not sure about talica12
