Land based Exmouth options

I am flying up to Exmouth for a quick 3 day trip at end of Feb and am looking for ideas of where to wet a line.
I have not land based fished there for 10 years, but keen to target anything from Whiting, Jacks, Queenies, Bluebone and any Trevally on the chew. We are staying on the canals so we will chase some Jacks etc in there and fish the Marina Wall, but would like to flick some stick baits and plastics (away from the crowds) for whatever within 20km to 30 km from town. I have been told that Oyster's and Lighthouse Bay on a rising tide is a good option.
Any suggestions on where we should head and what gear we should take up?

Town beach or south of the
Town beach or south of the marina for whiting, last of the runout tide. Same tide last or first run between the Mildura and the point for bluebone. Crab plastics or part crabs on a hook ,get ready to hand on.

Ben at ningaloo
Try Benno at Ningaloo sportsfishing charters, he may do a shorebase run if he doesnt have a boat booking.
