Land based fishing

Well now that dads sold the boat it looks like I'm going to have to get into land based fishing. First off is it common\possible to catch dufish land based and if so what would be the best way to do it? I'd also like to catch other fish like tailor, mulloway ect also where would be a good place/area to start.
Thanks for any advice and I hope to have some reports up soon.

Dhu fish landbased get
Dhu fish landbased get caught regulary in 2-3 spots in WA, each winter south of grenough a couple get caught, cliffs south of kalbarri occasionally and the south coast from albany to walpole we get a few, I've got a fair few smaller ones off the southern stones and some mates of mine have got a few u to 8kg but it's certainly a rare catch except for a couple of remote ledges we find them at.
always looking for a new challenge!!

Tim, check out ya local fishing club.
They will teach you all you need to get started land based.
What sort of gear do you have and where will you be fishing?
Land based demersals are a real bragworthy capture, alas they don't happen all to often.
Though a club member of ours very recently landed 2x snapper land based (68-71cm), a great effort esp this time of year!
