Landbased fishing at Willie Creek near Broome

Just wondering if anyone has done any landbased fishing at Willie Creek near Broome, or is it strictly tinnie fishing here? Have seen signs warning of croc sightings here, so very wary of the old salties being present.

Would no doubt be threadies etc on offer.

The track in here is pretty nasty that's for sure!

 Not the best spot for

Not the best spot for threadies. Better to target trevally, queenfish. Or float out a balloon for a Mackie.

Go to flat rock on low tide try get some live bait

And cast at the structure for jacks . Just have a small sinker to keep it in place. If you want threadies fish at night an hour before the high tide in roebuck bay. Demo beach just observe the locals. Whole cooked king prawns or mullet strips is best.

If you want any more guidance just pm me

If you are on foot

I don't know what it is like now, but some years back it most definantly wasn't the place to go on foot.
There where big sea going lizards there that wouldn't think twice about having a real close look and my be a taste of you.

Had a cast off the rocks with a SP around high tide, but no action. Saw some people fishing out on a sand bank at Willie Creek when the tide was out this morning a thought they were a bit keen. There are signs warning that crocs are prexent there.
