landbased Penguin Island meet up friday

Just throwing it up as an idea so far.
Winds on seabreeze are showing 1 knot at 11am. I know seabreeze isnt acurate even the day before let alone 4 days away but im not really to fussed if its crappy weather. I just booked friday off work. Just keen for a long weekend ;)
Anyone keen to meet up and flick around for some whiting or go the ocean side for big skippy/ silver bream?

Well you were right
Well you were right Spence.... Big talor 59cm! Caught it on a chunck of mulie with a bream hook lol! Spat the hook on the beach and hook went into my hand and i was tring to get it before the wave swept it back in all this while the hook was stuck in there hahaha.

You might want to give the rockingham council a call before you set things in stone marc. I went down there last week and theres a big sign saying the island is closed to public due to penguin hatchlings. There was a date for the reopening of the island but I can't remember it..

All good, just rang the ferry mob. There are quite a few baby penguins around but the ferry is still running. Just have to be carefull not to disturb them
