Great fishing weather last Sunday but very few posts. So I thought I would post this one. Out from Woodies at dawn. Fished one way point, three drifts and back to the ramp before noon. Too easy (for once). Dhuie went 12 kg.

Nothing wrong with queen snapper, IMO its on a par with the dhuey and black arse but well behind the baldy. Just because its got a brown stripe down the side of the fillet that doesn't taste any different from the rest of the fish mean that its garbage.

Very nice bag! queen snapper make great fish cakes, good for the kids if they dont like fish to much, or just trim off the darker meat, still good on the tooth IMO
