Last years PBs and this years goals

Hey guys, with the new year well on the way and last year a fading memory I'm curious as to what personal bests people succeeded in their desired species and their goals they have set themselves for the coming years,

I guess I'll start

56.5cm tailor - new goal is 60cm

36.5cm Black bream - new goal is 40cm

55cn Flathead - new goal is 60cm

33cm yellow fin whiting - new goal is 35cm

also I'm setting myself a goal of my first sambo, snapper, mulloway and bronzie

All of these landbased

I owe a lot of these captures to a few fellow fishers I met through this site

being new to Perth they showed me some new ground which has helped a lot ( cheers lads)

Everyones got different plans so I'm interested in what everyone's planning for the year to come

Thu, 2014-01-30 23:16

HA, dunno bout that mate, you know I'm having the worst run I can remember. Must have something to do with that black cat I kicked through a mirror when I was standing on a crack under a ladder. If I don't get my mojo back soon I might have to give it away & take up a more productive hobby, like collecting rocking horse turds.

i remember one day standing underneath a bridge soaking a bait for mulloway with the rain and wind howling, soaking wet and cold so cold i couldn't feel or close my hands, teeth wouldn't stop chattering and shivering uncontrollably probably about to get hupathermia when i could be at home all nice and warm but you don't catch fish at home. i didn't get a thing that day but it shows what these fish do to you:-)

I just want to take my new tinnie out into the sound and catch a snapper.  Also a big metro Mulloway would go down alright.  I also know of a few pools around the Pemberton area holding a few big brown trout I'm really keen to catch.
