Launching at two rocks for the first time

 G'day all

recently moved back to the city and will be looking to head out from two rocks in the coming month or so

Im just wondering once I have launched is there a certain way thru the reef or once I'm out the marina is it a straight shot to wherever I'm going?

thanks for any pointers

 only a couple of areas

only a couple of areas break, and usually takes a 2m+ swell to do that

Look on your GPS, you will see areas through the 3 mile which are 8-9m deep through the reef, go through their. From memory one is directly west.

I'd suggest going a few times on low swell days to get yourself used to it.

if there is a good swell running stay hard to the right (beachside) leaving marina as waves break across the rockwall
