Spent yesterday arvo upstream in the swan just down from guildford. Got two size bream and the boys enjoyed pulling in a few trumpeters and mucking around in a friends kayak. Was fun - only thing that pissed me off was boats doing 20knots plus in an area clearly sign posted as 5 knots. Luckily I was holding onto my boys (in life jackets) and manged to point the kayak into the waves or it could have been dangerous. The family next to us had there picknick blanket get wet from the wash going up the bank. I resorted to a bit of fist pumping and yelling abuse but they didnt care or couldnt hear me. assholes.

Try going on a public
Try going on a public holiday mate, you get idiots ski biscuiting through there. I've been reporting it to Marine Safety and happy to say I saw two patrol boats there on the March long weekend
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Yep
I was a bit further down and the speeds were pretty high, and the trim was even worse, arse down and slow still gives a pretty massive wake.
Towing less than 8 knots is not consdiered ski -ing, I saw a couple of baots towing at idle (in the 5 knot zone) which is legal.

Not only on the swan I've
Not only on the swan I've been going to Cervantes for over 30 years, the number of knobs up there now is amazing! Last long weekend some brain dead twat thought it's a great idea to pull up the jetty on his jet ski and rev the crap out of it blowing jet wash under the jetty, a lady and her family trying the best to fish asked if he could do that a bit further away I could not hear his response clearly but was not polite. When I took my phone and went to record what was going on he took off only then go cut sick through the mooring area flat stick. Skippers ticket was supposed to educate boat owners and jet ski owners of the rules but obviously you can't educate the brain dead!
