Ledge Point
Submitted by oldman on Sat, 2016-07-30 11:59
I'm after some information about fishing in Ledge Point if anybody can please help me.
Is there a boat ramp or is it beach launch? What is the channel like to get out?
If anybody has a couple of spots to get me started, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ledge
It is an easy beach launch where all the cray boats are parked and there are a few wrecks in the area
just do it.

Most of thge big boats there use a tractor Saulty but I've launched my 5.4m there plenty of times with no dramas.

Yeah a beach launch, this
Yeah a beach launch, this time of year the beach can be heavily weeded out. There's plenty of good ground in the early 20's heading slightly SW. The Kay Biscane is about 9nm and marked on most charts. Good for jigging up Sambo's.
