leeman long weekend
went to leeman with a few mates on the long weekend took the to whittly sealegends only there for two nights could have stayed there for ever. we manely went round the 50 60m mark chasing dhuies got only one bout 65 cm got 6 boldies 6 pinkies one breaksea cod with only one under size fish all weekend which was released with a weight. trolled a few bait balls and got one striped tuna on my new line slammer good fun with catch and release sum sambos the biggest being 26 kilo . all round good weekend and had a ball.ill post what picks i have when i get em off my mate but we didnt take many coz we were havin to much fun.

sounds like fum mate
went up 2 greenhead n caught 2 dhuies
one 10kg n the other 7kg
but then had a scare on the boat n end of fishin trip :(
but this was about 3mths ago, been meanin 2 head up 2 leeman coz a mate has a holiday house up there n i never get 2 go coz gotta werk public hldays,
enuf of my probs lol

Glad you didn't get the bloody freight train tide
on the full moon in Leeman just before Easter and started to come good just before we come home on the 23/4. With sea anchor in we were doing 1 to 1.7 knots and on the swell (down) 2 knots, only got whiskery sharks, good catch and glad to see the current is eased off.

Hey your not alone
Roberta I have done 5 trips now and come home with very little. Last trip 28nm out to return with 1 good size kg. Even then my son caught that one.
Just waiting for the dry spell to end for me. Hoping to push out next week early when I return to Perth and try again.
Spoke with our fishing commodore last week and he said things have been very avarage down our way all year.
Its a bit late to head home early.

yes blank cheque, feels like they have all gone on
holidays (the fish) our dry spell for many a year, lets keep our fingers crossed for everybody, nice dhuie was caught on the site, nice big buck. Good luck for your dry spell, hope you bring home a thumber of a fish. Regards Roberta
