Lenco Trimtab 101

Trim tab on the fritz, pulled it apart, full of water. Needs new o rings.
Cleaned up and everything works OK but worm drive appears a bit dodgy, catches a bit.......
Anyone else stuffed about with these? I guess I will just grease it up, new o-rings and give it a bash.....

Couple of dollars for o rings
Couple of dollars for o rings (cheaper from Baron....) vs several hundred dollars for a new trim tab.....no guarantee it will fix it but II think I will give the orings a crack.

Thanks Baron O rings
Thanks Baron
O rings installed on both sets of trim tabs, greased up, installed, all working again.
Note, the trim tab that was working OK actually had a fair bit of saltwater in it and was only a matter of time before it stopped working.
At $3 to overhaul (or $0 if you know Baron), a much cheaper option than $350 each for new ones.
