Listening to radio chatter

The radio was going off yesterday with advice that saileys were around the boat with the black smoke off Dampier yesterday....anyone get amongst it?

My late husband
used to get sick of listening Indonesia chatter when we were 20miles out of Leeman, most times he turned off the radio.
