long weekend Quobba trip
hi lads, thought i would share some of the photos from my quobba trip.
first time up there and man that place sure is an awesome place to fish, went up there with my mate Russ for 5 nights and we managed to hit the westher perfectly sunny days the whole time. all up we hooked unto 8 mackies, only landing 1 with the other 7 being lost to sharks, couldnt believe how bad they were up there. Was absolutely as it was my first mackie ever caught landbased on my first time ballooning was approx 13kg, still cant wipe the smile off my face. The bottom bashing was decent with us catching baldies, spanglies, sand snapper, redthroat, bluebone and spanish flag.
hope you lads enjoy the photos and cant wait to get back up there
Cheers
Reece

Top stuff Troopy. That pic of high rock brings back memories. My mate had caught a decnt pinkie which was resting on the ledge below waiting for the flying gaff to be lowered when a massive grouper came up and swallowed it whole. One of those things I'll never forget.
Love the West!
