Looking for a boat

Hi Crew,

Decided its time to upgrade to a bigger boat, thought I'd ask any one with a bit of spare time out there if they wanted to have a bit of a look for me as I'm short on time at the moment getting the FW comp sorted and with a growing list of tafe assignments.  If not, it's no biggie, I'm sure I'll get around to it one day. :)

I'm looking for a center console, either ally or fibre (pref fibre), from the 16-21ft range, again pref 4 stroke but not essential - 2 strokes ok as long as its a yammie or other reputable brand.  Can only afford 15-25k and would be nice to have a tee topper canopy, but that can be sorted after market if need be.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there if anyone is looking and has seen something like that or wouldn't mind helping me locate one - sure I could get you for a fish or two up here in Exxy at some point in time.

Cheers,

Adam

Eagle Ray Centre Console

Wed, 2011-02-16 07:12

Im not sure if its the 18' or 23' down the road from me.  Diesel, former charter vessel in survey, again you might have to massage the budget its down from 57k$ to 38k$ over the last few months.

Haunts me everyday on the way to tafe:/

http://www.firstcast.com.au/shorething.htm I think it was one of their old boast as it has their logo on the side in blue/white. Doesnt seem to be any shots of the boat on their website. But it could be this one 'Aurora

Aurora is a fully surveyed 7m Kevlar centre console and is powered by a 150hp turbo diesel Mercruiser that comfortably fishes up to 8 people and is the boat of choice for our off shore trips.'

Have you noticed the price changes?

Tue, 2011-02-22 20:34

It started at $55k down to $47, $42, $37, up to $47, down to $42, $38, now its back up to $47k again! The first time I thought they must have upgraded electronics or something but I cant work out if they are just questionable.
