Great offer

Great offer for someone , i'm sure you will get a deckie to go with you.

If you cant get someone to show you around and the ban on, just head out from Mindaries along the safe passage line, look for some sand in 8m to 20m deep and chase some sand whiting. Use a bait chaser rig ( 2 to 3 small hooks ) with small pieces of squid or prawn and you should get a nice feed, there are plenty of them around at the moment.

If your lucky you might get a King george or a few of the big flathead that live in the same areas. If your not keen to head out that far, just pop out to the first reef and anchor up on the inside. Burley up wiyh some bread and oil then flick small baits for Herring,Gardies and Skippy. Check out this short video of my mate catching skippy just inside the first reef.   youtu.be/OnQOlXar3EE   .  If you have a good look you can see the beach and marina in the background to give you an idea of how far out we are.

Hope this helps mate, good luck.

if you are prepared

if you are prepared to come to Rocky , launch at the beach ramp just south of the bent st ramp and head directly to the sisters (which are pretty much straight out from the ramp if you don't have a sounder just get about a k behind the sisters and you will be in about 20mts at the moment there are heaps of the biggest sand whiting I have ever seen some have go 30cm stop at 10 mate as you will have a good feed by then and they will be there next time you go back
