Looking for info/designs for a Boom Arm Cliff Fishing

G'day guys!
I have fished the cliffs south of steep point all my life and have seen many designs of extended boom arms with pulleys to keep your line off the rocks.
I have never really bothered with using one but I have a bit of spare time between the next trip and want a little project to work on. Would be great to see what other LBG fishos use off these ridiculous cliffs so i can try and design the perfect one!!
This is a photo I have pulled from the net (not my property) but it has the boom/ crane jib I am looking to make!

looks like pvc? or steel tube. Im guessing you want a pulley to keep line off the rocks rather than some kind of extended snapper winch?
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.

After zooming in on the picture it looks to be ali, could be steel but thats alot of weight to be carting around. The legs appear to be angle and theres a visible weld on the top bend where the roller is. Pvc wouldnt be anywhere rigid enough imo, not even the pressure pipe in that small size. Nor would it be heavy enough to stop it from toppling over into the water
Good things come to those who bait.
