I no a lot has been said about the Shimano Lucanus Jigs, but I can't see that this has been put up before. I found it very interesting.

I bought a couple Lucanus at Xmas time and fished with them twice.
The first session was good..... caught Pinky, Black Arse and a Swallowtail along with assorted sh*t fish.
Second session a little quieter until Jig was monstered and I ended up getting reefed and losing the jig.
The Lucanus seemed to work fine and I was able to fish a lighter jig than I could have if I had used an Octa in the same depth. The jig head is streamlined and smaller in volume for it's weight than lots of other jigs.
They are bloody expensive to buy, but I got mine on a 3 for 2 deal which lessened the pain.
