Mackerel Islands - Thevenard / Direction Island - March 2017

Hey guys,
Been reading all the previous posts on the MI and decided to pull the pin before no.2 arrives late April. I am planning on heading up mid-late March 2017 for 5 nights with BIL and a mate. Will be heading over in a 6m Haines and trolling for the usual pelagics, bottom bouncing past the suits etc. Thought i would send out the feelers to see if anyone else is keen to get a boat and crew together, or already planned a trip!? My boat is full sorry. Would be awesome to get a few fellow FW members out there same time! Considering renting DI to have the place solo - but Thevenard is closer to Rosily Shoals.
Aside, any tips and/or recommendations would be great lads.

Risky
Just risky with cyclones mate, Onslow and Exxy gulf is usually the corridor for them to head down around then. Just keep an eye on it before heading off. Hope you have a good trip.

Get full cyclone reports with work and aware how quick things change. Can never be too safe.
