MACS corrosion inhibitor

Hi Guys,
I have recently had my boat serviced and I asked why I keep getting rust stains on my leg - MAG350 bravo 3 (1 year old), I was recommended by the dealer to use MACS after each use, claim is that it protects pump seals and stops any block corrosion. Has anyone had any experience with this product? Any advice would be appreciated.

Use It
Mate I have an Alpha 1 leg and I use Macs every 2nd or 3rd rinse. It's not that cheap, but cheaper than a new leg. You can feel it in the water when it's rinsing out, it makes the water feel very slippery. Supposed to leave a coating inside when it is flushed through. Don't know if it's because of the Macs or not, but don't have any rust stains on the leg, done close to 700 hours now

its actually a water soluble
its actually a water soluble oil that coats the cooling channels inside the motor .. ive used it on my old motor but i heard a few crew saying it blocked up some of the smaller water channels after being cooked onto the block and heads .. for a cheaper version ask any bulk sheet metal shop for the oil that they use in the water supply to thier big drop saws, its the same stuff that squirts over the blade and metal to stop rusting :)

use it all the time
After every time i go out . Was told to flush it clean with fresh water and then flush with macs at the end. Have an Alpha one generation 2 on a merc 3ltr. Only 100 hours on the clock but so far so good. My mechanic says he has pulled motors apart that have been using macs and have shown no signs of corrosion.
