Mahi
Lures - Rictor Jellybabes in fluro pink or green work really well, but they'll take any colour, shape or size when they are hungry; they are eating machines.
Bait - Live herring or even unweighted fish pieces will see you getting into them.
Don't get to close to the FAD as they'll leave it and sit under your boat and not feed or they'll go deep and you won't see them again.
Good Luck, looking forward to seeing some pics from you soon.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

Long
Got to go a long way to fish anywhere near Soupy atm - He's not in WA Nick but his info is good.
Dont worry too much about which FAD as they can be there one day and gone the next. Be prepared to try multiple areas until you find them.
Use your sounder as well as you can often find them on bait etc well away from the FAD's and this is usually better as you will have them to yourself.

If you get to the FAD before
If you get to the FAD before anyone else is casting at it, make sure you first stop a good 50-70 metres back from it and put a few casts in. I've found when they’re not being disturbed, they venture out away from the fad or structure and hang around very close to the surface. In the past, I’ve done best with soft plastics (white and also pink goes well). Also small jigs work well if the fish have gone deep. While I have more fun casting at them, very few dollies will pass up a livie! In fact livies can save the day if the fish get too shaken up after other boats have already given it a bash.
Also if you're out that way, if you see anything floating, even the size of a small asky lid or clump of weed, always pays to have a cast at it, you never know what will be lurking under it!
